Arabescato’s swirling, arabesque veining turns a benchtop into a feature. Our film protects it without putting a visible layer between you and the pattern.
The stone
Arabescato is an Italian marble with heavy, flowing grey veins over a bright white base. The busy pattern can disguise small marks for a while, but it is still calcium carbonate and it still etches the moment acid touches it.
Over time those dull etch patches build up across the busiest parts of the kitchen, and they show most when light rakes across the surface. Film keeps the whole slab even.

Designing with Arabescato
Arabescato is chosen for movement. Its heavy grey veins swirl and branch across the slab, and designers often bookmatch it so the pattern mirrors across a join, particularly on full-height splashbacks and waterfall islands.
Bookmatched and waterfall details mean edges, mitres and joins. We plan the film around every one of them so the pattern carries on uninterrupted and the protection is continuous.
Arabescato Corchia, Arabescato Vagli and similar varieties all behave the same way. They differ in colour and pattern, not in how they react to acid.
