Filmed on a job in Greater Sydney. The film is squeegeed out from the centre, worked into the edges and trimmed back, with the surface cleaned down before we leave.

Protection that keeps the material at the centre.
The goal is never to mask the stone. It is to make the surface more resilient while keeping its depth and movement visible.
05 / Travertine kitchen
An open-grain stone, kept clean under daily use.
Travertine is one of the more porous stones we protect. Here the film runs across the full benchtop run, the island and the splashback, so coffee, oil and wine stay on the surface instead of settling into the grain.
