Bathroom vanities are often marble, limestone or onyx, because a vanity is small enough to justify a special stone. It is also a surface that sees a surprising number of chemicals every day, many of them acidic.
Ensuites and family bathrooms get the most wear: toothpaste around the basin, bottle rings from skincare and dull patches where cleaning spray was left to sit. Powder rooms see less, but guests put things down without thinking.
Film makes the whole top easy to clean with ordinary suitable products, and it is quick to do alongside a kitchen.
